FlashLight Studio

Effective Date: August 13, 2026  |  Last Updated: August 13, 2026

1. Introduction

RevaRamdoot Studios ("we," "our," or "us") operates the FlashLight Studio mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App does and does not collect. Please read it carefully. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

The short version: FlashLight Studio does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, because it has no internet permission at all and contains no advertising or analytics SDKs. Everything the App does happens entirely on your device.

2. Information We Collect

None. The App does not collect any personal information, usage data, device identifiers, or analytics of any kind, and has no servers to send such data to even if it wanted to. The App requests no INTERNET permission, so it is technically incapable of transmitting data off your device.

The App does not require you to create an account and does not ask for your name, email address, or any contact information.

3. Device Permissions and Why We Use Them

The App requests the following device permissions. Every one of them is used only to operate the feature it is named for, entirely on your device, and none of them results in data leaving your device:

  • Camera: Used only to drive the LED flash unit as a torch. The App never captures, views, processes, or stores any photo, video, or camera feed.
  • Phone State: Used only to detect that a call is ringing or active, so the App can flash the LED as an alert if you enable "Flash on incoming call." Call numbers and call logs are never read, stored, or transmitted.
  • Notification Access (an optional permission you grant separately in Android Settings): Used only to detect that a notification or SMS has arrived, so the App can flash the LED if you enable "Flash on notification" or "Flash on SMS." The content of your notifications is never read, logged, stored, or transmitted — the App only reacts to the event, for the specific apps you choose.
  • Post Notifications: Used to show the App's own status notification (for example, "Flashlight is running") while a blink mode or alert service is active.
  • Boot Completed: Used to re-arm your saved alert settings after your device restarts, so flash-on-call alerts keep working without you having to reopen the App.
  • Vibrate: Used only for the optional "vibrate on toggle" haptic feedback when you tap the torch button.
  • Wake Lock / Foreground Service / Foreground Service (Camera): Used to keep the torch, strobe, SOS, or alert flashing running reliably while the App or its background service is active.
  • Quick Settings Tile and Home-Screen Widget access: Used only to offer one-tap torch control outside the App; neither involves any data collection.

4. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with, embed, or send data to any third-party service. There are no advertising networks, no analytics SDKs (including Google Analytics or Firebase), and no crash-reporting services bundled with the App. The App currently displays no advertisements.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your settings and preferences (for example, your chosen blink timing, alert triggers, and quiet hours) are stored locally on your device only, using standard Android app storage. This data is never uploaded, synced, or made accessible to us. Uninstalling the App, or clearing its storage from Android Settings, permanently removes this data from your device.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Because we never receive or collect any of your data, there is nothing stored on our end to retain, access, correct, or delete on your behalf. All App data lives exclusively on your device and under your control:

  • Uninstalling the App removes all of its locally stored settings from your device.
  • You can also clear the App's storage at any time via Android Settings → Apps → FlashLight Studio → Storage & cache, without uninstalling.
  • You can revoke any granted permission (Camera, Phone, Notification Access, etc.) at any time via Android Settings, which immediately stops the App from using it.

7. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information from anyone at all. The App contains no user-generated content, chat, or social features.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the App's functionality changes in a future version — for example, if a future update ever adds internet connectivity, analytics, or advertising, this policy will be updated first to describe exactly what changed and why, and the "Last Updated" date will reflect it. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
