• Microphone Access: The App accesses your microphone to record audio alongside video. Audio is processed and stored locally on your device.
• Storage Access: The App requires storage permission to save recorded videos to your device's gallery.

• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
• Usage Data: Features used (recording layouts, camera settings), session duration, and app interaction patterns.
• Crash Data: Crash reports and performance diagnostics to help us improve app stability.

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not access, upload, or transmit your recorded videos or photos
• We do not collect your contacts, location, or browsing history
• We do not use facial recognition or biometric data

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the dual-camera recording functionality

4. Data Processing — On-Device

Double Take is designed with a privacy-first architecture. All video recording, compositing (split-screen, picture-in-picture), and processing happens entirely on your device. Your video content never leaves your phone unless you choose to share it yourself.

• Google Analytics / Firebase: For anonymous usage analytics and crash reporting
• Google Play Billing: For processing in-app purchases (if applicable)

6. Data Storage and Security

All recorded videos are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain cloud storage or backup of your video content. Analytics data collected is secured using industry-standard encryption and access controls.

Anonymous usage analytics are retained for up to 24 months. Since video content is stored only on your device, you have full control over its retention and deletion.
