Delete Your Data
PDFedit — Offline PDF Editor, Scanner & Reader
Effective Date: September 11, 2026 | Last Updated: September 11, 2026
1. Where Your Data Actually Lives
PDFedit is fully offline. Your documents, edits, annotations, signatures, Recent list, bookmarks, favourites, folders, search history, and app settings are held entirely in the App's private storage on your own device. RevaRamdoot Studios operates no server that receives any of it, and the App offers no cloud backup or sync of any kind.
There is exactly one place your data can be: your device. Because we hold nothing, you can delete everything yourself, immediately, without asking us and without waiting on a request to be processed.
2. Delete the Data on Your Device
Export or back up anything you still need first. These steps are immediate and permanent. Since PDFedit has no cloud backup, there is no copy to restore from anywhere — not with us, and not with any other service.
Option 1 — Clear the App's storage (keeps the App installed)
- Open Android Settings
- Go to Apps → PDFedit → Storage & cache
- Tap Clear storage
This erases every document, edit, annotation, signature, Recent entry, bookmark, favourite, folder, search history entry, and setting, returning the App to its first-launch state.
Option 2 — Uninstall the App
Uninstalling removes all of the App's locally stored data along with it.
Delete selectively instead
You do not have to erase everything. Individual documents, Recent entries, bookmarks, and folders can be removed inside the App, one at a time, at any point — and revoking the App's all-files-access or notification permission at any time via Android Settings takes effect immediately.
3. What We Delete on Our Side
Nothing of what you create, because we hold none of it. This is not a policy choice we could quietly reverse without telling you — the App ships with no analytics SDK, no advertising network, no crash-reporting service, and no billing or subscription library, and there is no RevaRamdoot Studios server that your documents or usage are ever sent to.
Specifically, there is no data of yours in any of these categories for us to delete:
- No account profile, because the App creates no account and offers no sign-in.
- No usage analytics, anonymised or otherwise.
- No crash reports or device identifiers.
- No copies of your documents, edits, or scans.
- No payment or subscription records — the App has no in-app purchases today.
If a future version of the App ever changes this, the Privacy Policy will be updated to say so before that version ships.
4. What Deletion Cannot Reach
- Documents you have already shared, printed, or exported. Once a PDF is emailed, messaged, printed, or saved elsewhere through Android's share sheet, it is governed by whichever app or service you sent it to. Neither you nor we can recall it from PDFedit.
- Files elsewhere on your device. If all-files access was granted and you saved a converted or exported PDF to a shared folder, clearing the App's storage removes the App's own data but does not reach copies you separately saved outside it — delete those the same way you would delete any other file on your device.
